The Prosecco pop-up at Root and Flower happened on opening night of Vail Beaver Creek restaurant week!

Is there a better special to kick off the week than $20.18 bottles of prosecco?

The Recap

The Prosecco Pop-Up was a gathering of awesome people, some I knew and others I didn’t, but I made new friends.  I was excited that this event brought in people who have never been to Root and Flower!

The $20.18 bottle of Italian prosecco special continues until Oct. 7th.  I’ve become a huge fan of the Italian Prosecco because as a new prosecco drinker recently stated, “it’s the perfect taste of not too dry, not too sweet and has an excellent flavor, I had no idea.” Yes, it’s all that!  Some of us enjoy the happy buzz we get from the bubbles as well.

It’s always cool to hear about someone enjoying something new for the first time.

A few of the party participants weren’t really into prosecco, but they wanted to taste wine from the select wine list. View their wine list

What Else Does Root and Flower Offer besides Prosecco?

Root and Flower is famous for the Gin and Tonic so that draws in the G&T drinkers. They also wanted to see what was happening at the Prosecco Pop-Up event. The G&T is nothing I’ve ever tasted and a must try even if you are not a huge Gin drinker.

What’s special about it is they make their own tonic and it’s not at all like your bottle tonic. This tonic has the effervescence, but they use a unique herb combination that makes the whole cocktail so delicious you can’t help but drink it a little too fast.

Unique Traits of Root and Flower

Root and Flower have classic bathroom images which you wouldn’t think would make a blog post but yeah they are that interesting and comical.

“If you want my body and you think I’m sexy” Rod Stewart.  After a bottle of prosecco or a few G&T’s, you are feeling that way, for sure!

Rod is just a taste of what is there but the walls are covered so you’ll have to see for yourself.

In the winter, a  DJ. will spring up and I hope that continues this winter.  When the whole place is dancing and the bubbles are flowing it’s like a classic European bar!  The music varies between what I call house and mix versus techno so older people can come and enjoy a fun dance beat without redundancy.

Go in and enjoy the special Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Special, you have until Sunday!
