Vintage in the West Vail Village area is running a $20.18 dinner special for Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Week- Dining at Altitude.

Step off the beaten path of Vail Village and head over West Vail Village to a comfortable dining experience.

The Stuffed Pork Chop was delicious and receives a Black Diamond Rating.

Why I choose Vintage

I choose to go to Vintage for the $20.18 special because I’ve always had an amazingly hearty brunch.  Vintage even offer the bottomless mimosas, and you know how I love the bubbly.

I thought this was the perfect opportunity to sample their dinner.  They have select menu items for the $20.18 special, and I picked the Stuffed Pork Chop as my favorite.

What is West Vail Village

Vintage is in an area I call West Vail Village.  A cluster of restaurants and bars occupy this area for instance:

Remedy Bar and Flame restaurant at the 4 Seasons Vail

King’s Club Bar, Bully Ranch Restaurant and Bar, and the Swiss Chalet all in the Sonnenalpe Hotel.

Frost and Leonora at the Sebastian.

La Bottega & Alpenrose.

It’s a festive little area of Vail Village and a lot of fun bopping between the different places.  There are parking options in this area if you don’t want to park in the structure.

The $20.18 Special Selections

Steak Oscar Frites
Mussels Frites
Poisson en Papillote
Pappardelle al Jardin
Stuffed Pork Chop

They don’t have their $20.18 menu online so you will have to call to get the details of each of these items or just come on in.

I like that they have a variety of options, meat, fish and pasta, good choices for people with different tastes.

Other Details about Vintage

I like the atmosphere especially the bar area it’s warm and comfortable.  The interior of the restaurant has the french touches you would expect with a little mountain flair peaking out.

Full windows throughout so you don’t feel confined, and during the brunch hours, there are tables outside.

They also have a Vintage Cocktail selection of Sazerac, Negroni and a Hemingway Daiquiri to name a few, plus the usual mountain specialty cocktails and actual Champagne- which is different from Prosecco.  So they are keeping with French selections.

If you would like to get out of the thick of Vail Village and try West Vail Village, you will be happily surprised, and you won’t be jammed in with other diners.

I would love to you know what you thought about the experience!  Please comment below.
